How can I set up a visit to get medical care?

What do I need to bring for my medical visit?
1. Bring your insurance card to every visit.
2. Bring ALL your medicine to each visit (including aspirin or medicine prescribed at other physican offices).
3. Bring a list of things you wish to discuss with the medical provider caring for you.
4. Low income patients might be able to get help with medical bills and medicine.
5. New patients must bring a driver's license or other picture I.D., a water or light bill with their name and address; check stubs for one month's work. The center also needs to know how much money each person in your family earns. Patients not working must bring a letter from the Employment Security office stating that they are not working.
How do I get my medicine refilled?
You call 843-488-6341 for our refill hotline. Please give your name, date of birth, the name of your medicine, and a phone number where you can be reached.
If you do not have refills left, call your nurse. Please give your name, date of birth, the name of your medicine and a phone number where you can be reached. The nurse also needs the phone number of your pharmacy.
REMEMBER! IT TAKES 48 HOURS TO REFILL YOUR MEDICINE. ONE WEEK BEFORE YOU HAVE NO MEDICINE, PLEASE CALL OUR REFILL HOTLINE!
When I need medical care fast what should I do?
Call 911 in an emergency. An ambulance will be sent to your location, if needed.
When I am ill and the center is closed, what can I do?
Call 911 in an emergency. If you need to talk to a doctor and our office is closed please call 843-248-1915. The medical person on duty will return your call.
What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and most major health insurance. Any co-pays, deductibles, or non-covered services must be paid at the time of service. We also accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, money orders and checks.

Can I get medical care if I do not have insurance?
Yes. We expect you to pay after each medical visit. Insurance is not needed to get medical care at our centers. We will set up a pay plan for you if you are unable to pay in full. We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, money orders and checks.
